James A. Pautler has joined the firm as an associate attorney.

Mr. Pautler comes to the legal profession after a successful career in the telecommunications industry. In 2005 he graduated summa cum laude from the Seattle University School of Law where he was a member of the Law Review and a published author. Before coming to Deno Millikan, Mr. Pautler worked for a general practice in South King County and served as a volunteer attorney for the Seattle Housing Justice Project and King County Bar Association. Mr. Pautler gladly accepts referrals in small business, estate planning, probate, personal injury, real estate, family law, and criminal matters.

In his spare time Jim is an accomplished pianist, musician, and amateur composer. His band, Mutha Knows Best, took first place in the 2006 lawyerpalooza benefit competition. You can see him playing keyboards at www.muthaknowsbest.com.
