I am a trial lawyer. I have built my career fighting for people who have suffered serious personal injuries, complex divorces and difficult commercial and business problems. Whether they need a skilled negotiator or an advocate at trial, I am honored to be of service to my clients. In fact, helping people solve problems my favorite part of the legal profession. 

I graduated from the Willamette University College of Law in 1995 and have been with the Deno Millikan Law Firm ever since. In 2013, I was named the Snohomish County Bar Association’s “Attorney of the Year”. I have served as chairwoman of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ) Snohomish County Roundtable. From 2010 to 2012, I was on the Snohomish County Bar Association Board of Trustees, serving as bar President in 2012. In 2003, I was identified as a Washington State “Super Lawyer” by Washington Law and Politics Magazine. I also serve as an arbitrator in Snohomish County Superior Court.

Caring about my clients has been the key to success for me. Growing up in our community shaped my vision of who I wanted to be and how I wanted to live. I know first-hand the value and satisfaction that comes from hard work. I value integrity in dealing with my clients, colleagues and the Court. These values led me to become a lawyer, and they are a cornerstone of how I help my clients resolve important and difficult problems.

I always knew that I would return to Everett after finishing law school, to raise my family here. Whether it is skiing at Stevens Pass with my family and friends, walking though the Evergreen State Fair on a rainy August afternoon or hauling in a crab pot off Whidbey Island, this is the place that grounds me. Giving back to our community is important too and I have tried to do that by service both professionally and personally.
