My name is Taylor Koufos and I joined the Deno Millikan team as an associate attorney in 2023. I have practiced family law in the Puget Sound area for four years, and I am now transferring my litigation skills to a broader area of practice here. I am particularly interested in employment and business matters, as I was raised by a family of entrepreneurs.
I am originally from sunny South Florida. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Florida State University, where I was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. I enjoyed two years traveling as a flight attendant for Delta Air Lines before returning to Florida to pursue my legal education. I received my Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During law school, I served as Research Editor and Articles Editor for Stetson Law Review, clerked at Ford Harrison LLP, and interned for a federal judge in the Middle District of Florida.
I dreamed of moving to the beautiful Pacific Northwest since I was thirteen, so I seized the opportunity to relocate here in 2019. I currently live in the Bothell area with my partner, Kienan, our tabby cat, Judge, and our betta fish, Tulpa. In my free time, I enjoy painting with watercolor, creating veganized versions of classic dishes, and practicing yoga. Kienan is a journalist, so our weekends are often spent meeting new people at local Snohomish County events. Kienan and I hike and camp as often as we can – a recent highlight was summiting Mt. St. Helens.
I look forward to serving the people of Snohomish County with their legal needs.
